As 2017 comes into the final season of the year, we would like to take a moment to update each of you with some general jurisdictional news.

Business personal property return deadline is December 31, 2017. Make sure we have your asset listing and pertinent information.
Florida tax bills went out the last week in October and the first early payment discount (4%) by November 31; (3%) by December 31; (2%) by January 31; (1%) by February 28; and full base tax by March 31.
Fulton County – a temporary collection order has been given to Fulton County so that they can collect 2017 taxes. The bills have been mailed with the City of Atlanta payment due 12/31/2017 and the Fulton County payment due January 15, 2018. Cities such as Roswell, Alpharetta, etc. are also sending out their tax bills now with extended due dates. All 2017 appeals are continuing on schedule with hearings, etc. being held and adjusted 2017 tax bills (if applicable) provided.
- Appeal deadline for non-reassessment counties in SC is January 16, 2018.
- We need to know if you have purchased any SC properties during 2017.
- SC Business Personal Property deadline is April 30.
- Business Personal Property deadline in NC is January 31. Need updated asset lists showing acquisitions and/or disposals of BPP in NC as of 12/31/17.
